Your empathy, caring and generosity toward others is amazing, appreciated and much needed.  It continues to impress me how much you give of yourself to those around you, the glue that holds everything together.

Beyond that, your concern and understanding of the challenging issues facing us as people, nations and planet drive an outpouring of meaningful dialog, activism and action.  You live your principles every minute of every day.  You work hard and have fun with passion and a zest for living.  You elevate the simple to the sublime, the routine to a full experience. Your presence in this world makes a positive difference every day.

I am so thankful to have you as a music partner and friend.  You are the missing piece to my music puzzle for both performance and writing.  Your rich, warm, powerful voice connects with people because of the genuine emotion behind it.  People don’t just hear you, they feel your pain and joy, sorrow and elation.  That ability to connect with people in a meaningful way is your superpower.

All this has inspired me to be a better musician and performer, and it’s an honor and a privilege to share the stage with you.

Writing songs has always been a challenge for me.  Now that we are collaborating, the ideas flow more easily, and we’re able to fill in the gaps for each other.  I’ve been dreaming of a collaborative effort like this for a long time, and so pleased we continue to make progress with our art.  If all we do is write for ourselves and our local audience, I’ll be happy. If by some chance it goes beyond that, well, it’ll be an unexpected added bonus.
